With the rise of COVID-19 cases and growing concerns for the health and safety of workers and customers, the need for merchants to temporary close their brick and mortar stores were in loom. Shopify Email decided to create a series of email templates available for merchants who were either promoting their online stores or offering in-store, contactless curbside pick up options.

Note: Shopify Email templates automatically grab the logo and its colours from the merchant’s online store in order to customize these templates according to the brand of the business. Thus, a lot of communication was involved with developers to see which colour grabbed from the store was plausible.
